Restore the factory default settings

If your tablet is slow or in any other way doesn't work or respond as well as it should, it may help to restore the factory default settings. This deletes all configurations you've made in your tablet.

Press the menu icon.

Press Settings.

Step 3 of 6

Press Back up and reset.

Step 4 of 6

Press Factory data reset.

Step 5 of 6

Press Reset device.

Step 6 of 6

Press Erase everything.
Wait a moment while the factory default settings are restored.
Follow the instructions on the display to set up your tablet and prepare it for use.

1. Find "Factory data reset"

Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Back up and reset.
Press Factory data reset.

2. Restore factory default settings

Press Reset device.
Press Erase everything.
Wait a moment while the factory default settings are restored.
Follow the instructions on the display to set up your tablet and prepare it for use.
