    Activate or deactivate data roaming

    You can avoid data traffic when abroad by deactivating data roaming. No connection to the Internet via the mobile network can then be established. You can still use WLAN even though data roaming is deactivated. To activate or deactivate data roaming you need to activate mobile data.

    Step 1 of 8

    Press Apps.

    Step 2 of 8

    Press Settings.

    Step 3 of 8

    Press More settings.

    Step 4 of 8

    Press Mobile networks.

    Step 5 of 8

    Press Data roaming to activate or deactivate data roaming.

    If you activate data roaming:
    Press OK to confirm.

    Step 7 of 8

    When the box next to the menu item is marked, data roaming is activated.

    Step 8 of 8

    Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.

    1. Find "Mobile networks"

    Press Apps.
    Press Settings.
    Press More settings.
    Press Mobile networks.

    2. Activate or deactivate data roaming

    Press Data roaming to activate or deactivate data roaming.
    If you activate data roaming:
    Press OK to confirm.
    When the box next to the menu item is marked, data roaming is activated.

    3. Return to the Home screen

    Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.
