Set up your mobile phone for Internet

The Internet connection can be used for many functions on your mobile phone, such as using the Internet browser, receiving e-mails and installing apps. You'll be able to access the Internet as soon as you've inserted your SIM into your mobile phone. If this isn't the case, we can send an Internet configuration to your mobile phone or you can set up your mobile phone manually.

Slide your finger down on the display.

Press the settings icon.

Press SIM card & mobile data.

Press the name of the SIM.

Press Access point name.

Press the add icon.

Press the field below "Name" and key in Swisscom Services.

Press the field below "APN" and key in gprs.swisscom.ch.

Press the field below "Proxy" and key in 192.168.210.1.

Press the field below "Port" and key in 8080.

Press the field below "MCC" and key in 228.

Press the field below "MNC" and key in 01.

Press Authentication Type.

Press None.

Press the field below "APN Type" and key in default.

Press the confirm icon.

Press the field next to the data connection to fill in the field.

Press the home icon to end the session and return to the Home screen.

1. Find "Access point name"

Slide your finger down on the display.
Press the settings icon.
Press SIM card & mobile data.
Press the name of the SIM.
Press Access point name.

2. Set up a new data connection

Press the add icon.

3. Enter data connection name

Press the field below "Name" and key in Swisscom Services.

4. Enter the APN

Press the field below "APN" and key in gprs.swisscom.ch.

5. Enter the IP address

Press the field below "Proxy" and key in 192.168.210.1.

6. Enter the port number

Press the field below "Port" and key in 8080.

7. Enter the country code

Press the field below "MCC" and key in 228.

8. Enter the network code

Press the field below "MNC" and key in 01.

9. Select the authentication type

Press Authentication Type.
Press None.

10. Enter the APN type

Press the field below "APN Type" and key in default.

11. Save and activate the data connection

Press the confirm icon.
Press the field next to the data connection to fill in the field.

12. Return to the Home screen

Press the home icon to end the session and return to the Home screen.
