Set up your mobile phone for MMS

An MMS is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones and e-mail addresses. You'll be able to send and receive MMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM into your mobile phone. If this is not the case, you can set up your mobile phone for MMS manually.

Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.
Press Settings.

Press access point.

Press add.

Press the field below "Connection name" and key in Swisscom Services

Press the field below "Data type".

Press default.

Press the field below "Access point name" and key in gprs.swisscom.ch

Press the field below "Authentication type".

Step 9 of 18

Press none.

Step 10 of 18

Press the field below "MMS access point name" and key in event.swisscom.ch

Press the field below "Proxy address" and key in 192.168.210.2

Press the field below "Proxy port" and key in 8080

Press the field below "Authentication type".

Press none.

Press the confirm icon.

Press the data connection to activate it.

Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.

1. Find "access point"

Press access point.

2. Set up a new data connection

Press add.

3. Enter a data connection name

Press the field below "Connection name" and key in Swisscom Services

4. Select data bearer

Press the field below "Data type".
Press default.

5. Enter the Internet APN

Press the field below "Access point name" and key in gprs.swisscom.ch

6. Select the Internet authentication type

Press the field below "Authentication type".
Press none.

7. Enter the MMS APN

Press the field below "MMS access point name" and key in event.swisscom.ch

8. Enter the MMS IP address

Press the field below "Proxy address" and key in 192.168.210.2

9. Enter the MMS port number

Press the field below "Proxy port" and key in 8080

10. Enter MMS server

Press the field below "MMSC address" and key in http://mms.natel.ch:8079

11. Select the MMS authentication type

Press the field below "Authentication type".
Press none.

12. Save and activate the data connection

Press the confirm icon.
Press the data connection to activate it.

13. Return to the Home screen

Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.
