    Set up your mobile phone for Swisscom e-mail

    You can set up your mobile phone to send and receive e-mails from your Swisscom e-mail account. Remember, you need to set up your mobile phone for Internet.

    Press the main menu icon.

    Press Mail.

    Press Other (POP3/IMAP).

    Press Email address and key in your Swisscom e-mail address.

    Press Password and key in the password for your Swisscom e-mail account.

    If you've forgotten your e-mail password (not your Swisscom Login password), you can find it in the Customer Center.

    Press NEXT.

    Press the drop down list below "PROTOCOL".

    1. Find "Mail"

    Press the main menu icon.
    Press Mail.

    2. Enter e-mail address

    Press Other (POP3/IMAP).
    Press Email address and key in your Swisscom e-mail address.

    3. Enter password

    Press Password and key in the password for your Swisscom e-mail account.
    If you've forgotten your e-mail password (not your Swisscom Login password), you can find it in the Customer Center.
    Press NEXT.

    4. Select the server type

    Press the drop down list below "PROTOCOL".
    Press IMAP.

    5. Enter the username

    Press the field below "USERNAME" and key in the username for your Swisscom e-mail account.

    6. Enter the incoming server

    Press the field below "IMAP SERVER" and key in imaps.bluewin.ch

    7. Activate encryption of incoming e-mails

    Press the field below "SECURITY TYPE".
    Press SSL.

    8. Enter the incoming port

    Press the field below "SERVER PORT" and key in 993
    Press NEXT.

    9. Activate SMTP authentication

    Press Login required until the function is activated.
    Press the field below "USERNAME" and key in the username for your Swisscom e-mail account.
    Press the field below "PASSWORD" and key in the password for your Swisscom e-mail account.

    10. Enter the outgoing server

    Press the field below "SMTP SERVER" and key in smtpauths.bluewin.ch

    11. Activate encryption of outgoing e-mails

    Press the field below "SECURITY TYPE".
    Press SSL.

    12. Enter the outgoing port

    Press the field below "SERVER PORT" and key in 465
    Press NEXT.

    13. Enter an account name

    Press the field below "ACCOUNT NAME" and key in the required name.

    14. Enter the sender name

    Press the field below "YOUR NAME" and key in the required sender name.
    Press FINISH. Your e-mail account has been set up. To select more settings, such as synchronisation of the e-mail account, continue with the following steps.

    15. Select setting for synchronisation during peak hours

    Press the menu icon.
    Press Settings.
    Press Sync, Send & Receive.
    Press Peak time sync.
    To select automatic retrieval, press Smart Sync.
    To select manual retrieval, press Manual.
    To select synchronisation period manually, press the required interval.
    Press Peak time.
    Press Days.
    Press the required days.
    Press OK.
    Press Peak time start.
    Slide your finger up or down on hour and minute.
    Press OK.
    Press Peak time end.
    Slide your finger up or down on hour and minute.
    Press OK.
    Press the Return key.

    16. Select setting for synchronisation during off-peak hours

    Press Off-peak sync.
    To select automatic retrieval, press Smart Sync.
    To select manual retrieval, press Manual.
    To select synchronisation period manually, press the required interval.

    17. Finish setup

    Press the Return key.

    18. Return to the Home screen

    Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.
