If your device isn't working properly, you can try several solutions to solve the problem.
In most cases you can solve the problem by following these guidelines:

Slide your finger right starting from the left edge of the display.

5 Enter subject
Press Subject and key in a subject for the e-mail.

Press the attachment icon.

8 Send the e-mail
Press the send icon when you've finished your e-mail.
9 Return to the Home screen
Press the home icon to end the session and return to the Home screen.

4 Enter password

6 Enter username
Key in the username for your Swisscom e-mail account.

7 Enter the incoming server
Press the field below "IMAP SERVER" and key in imaps.bluewin.ch
8 Activate encryption of incoming e-mails
Press the field below "SECURITY TYPE".
Press SSL.
9 Enter the incoming port
Press the field below "SERVER PORT" and key in 993
Press NEXT.
10 Activate SMTP authentication
Press Login required until the function is activated.
Key in the username for your Swisscom e-mail account.
Key in the username for your Swisscom e-mail account.
Press the field below "PASSWORD" and key in the password for your Swisscom e-mail account.
11 Enter the outgoing server
Press the field below "SMTP SERVER" and key in smtpauths.bluewin.ch
12 Activate encryption of outgoing e-mails
Press the field below "SECURITY TYPE".
Press SSL.
13 Enter the outgoing port
Press the field below "SERVER PORT" and key in 465
Press NEXT.
14 Enter an account name
Key in the required name.

15 Enter the sender name
Press the field below "YOUR NAME" and key in the required sender name.
16 Finish setup
Press FINISH.
Wait while your mobile phone retrieves new e-mails.

17 Select setting for synchronisation during peak hours
Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Sync, Send & Receive.
Press Peak time sync.
Press Smart Sync, Manual or the required interval.
18 Select setting for synchronisation during off-peak hours
Press Off-peak sync.
Press Smart Sync, Manual or the required interval.
19 Select period for synchronisation of e-mails
Press Download options.
Press the required setting.
Press the return icon several times to return to the inbox.
20 Return to the Home screen
Press the home icon to end the session and return to the Home screen.
