Set up your mobile phone for MMS
An MMS is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones and e-mail addresses. You'll be able to send and receive MMS as soon as you've inserted your SIM into your mobile phone. If this isn't the case, we can send an MMS configuration to your mobile phone or you can set up your mobile phone manually.
1. Find "MMS"
Slide your finger left on the display to open the main menu.
Press Text Messages.
Press Text Messages.
Press the dots.
Press Settings.
Press Text Messages.
Press MMS.
2. Activate or deactivate request for delivery reports
Press the indicator next to "Confirm Delivery" to activate or deactivate the function.
3. Select setting for receiving MMS
Press Auto Retrieval Mode.
Press the required setting.
4. Edit data connection
Press the settings icon.
5. Enter APN
Press the field below "APN" and key in event.swisscom.ch
An APN is used to establish a data connection. In order to send and receive MMS, your mobile phone needs a data connection.
6. Enter MMS server
Press the field below "MMSC URL" and key in http://mms.natel.ch:8079
7. Enter IP address
Press the field below "Proxy URL" and key in 192.168.210.2:8080
8. Save data connection
Press the save icon.
9. Return to the home screen
Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your mobile phone to return to the home screen.
