    Use tethering

    You can use your mobile phone to set up an Internet connection from a laptop or desktop. First you need to set up your mobile phone for Internet and install BlackBerry Desktop Software on your computer. You can download the program from www.blackberry.com

    Step 1 of 11

    Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to your computer's USB port.

    Step 2 of 11

    Press Sync Media.

    Step 3 of 11

    Start the program BlackBerry Desktop Software on your computer.

    Step 4 of 11

    Select Mobile Internet.

    Step 5 of 11

    Select Configure connection ....

    Step 6 of 11

    Select Add....

    Step 7 of 11

    Click the field next to "Profile name" and key in Swisscom Services

    Step 8 of 11

    Click the field next to "Access point" and key in gprs.swisscom.ch

    Step 9 of 11

    Select OK.

    Select OK.

    Select Connect.
    An Internet connection from your computer via your mobile phone is established.

    1. Connect your mobile phone and computer

    Connect the data cable to the phone socket and to your computer's USB port.
    Press Sync Media.

    2. Set up your computer for tethering

    Start the program BlackBerry Desktop Software on your computer.
    Select Mobile Internet.
    Select Configure connection ....
    Select Add....
    Click the field next to "Profile name" and key in Swisscom Services
    Click the field next to "Access point" and key in gprs.swisscom.ch
    Select OK.
    Select OK.

    3. Use tethering

    Select Connect.
    An Internet connection from your computer via your mobile phone is established.
