Troubleshooting
If your device isn't working properly, you can try several solutions to solve the problem.
In most cases you can solve the problem by following these guidelines:
1 Connect the charging cable to your mobile phone
Connect the charging cable to the charger and then to a wall socket.
Connect the other end of the charging cable to the socket at the bottom of your mobile phone.
When the battery charging icon is displayed, charging is in progress.
2 End charging
When the battery is fully charged, you can remove the charger from the wall socket and your mobile phone.

1 Turn on your mobile phone
Press On/Off until your mobile phone is turned on.
2 Enter your PIN
Press Unlock.
Key in your PIN and press OK.
If your mobile phone rejects your SIM:
Contact your distributor or service provider where you bought your mobile phone.

3 Turn off your mobile phone
Press and hold On/Off.
Drag the power off icon right to turn off your mobile phone.

1 Remove the SIM holder
Insert the opener for the SIM holder into the small hole in the SIM holder on the side of your mobile phone.
Remove the SIM holder from your mobile phone.
2 Insert your SIM
Turn your SIM so the angled corner of your SIM matches the angled corner of the SIM holder.
Place your SIM in the SIM holder.
Place your SIM in the SIM holder.
3 Insert the SIM holder
Insert the SIM holder into your mobile phone.

1 Turn on your mobile phone
Press On/Off until your mobile phone is turned on.

1 Find "Touch ID & Passcode"
Press Settings.
Press Touch ID & Passcode.
2 Select option
Select one of the following options:
Activate use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Deactivate use of phone lock code, go to 2b.
Activate use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Deactivate use of phone lock code, go to 2b.

3 2a - Activate use of phone lock code
Press Turn Passcode On.
Key in a phone lock code of your own choice.
Key in the same phone lock code again.
Key in a phone lock code of your own choice.
Key in the same phone lock code again.
Press Require Passcode.
Press Immediately or the required period.
Press Touch ID & Passcode.
To allow deletion of all phone data after having keyed in an incorrect phone lock code 10 times in a row:
Press the indicator next to "Erase Data" until the function is activated.
Press the indicator next to "Erase Data" until the function is activated.
Press Enable.
4 2b - Deactivate use of phone lock code
Key in your phone lock code.
Press Turn Passcode Off and key in your phone lock code.
Press Turn Passcode Off and key in your phone lock code.
5 Return to the Home screen
Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.
