Possible cause 3 of 3:

If your mobile phone hasn't been correctly set up for e-mail, you can't send and receive e-mail.


What you need to do:

You can set up your mobile phone to send and receive e-mails from your Swisscom e-mail account. Remember, you need to set up your mobile phone for Internet.

1.

Find "Email"

  • Press Apps.
  • Press Email.

Enter the e-mail address

  • Key in your e-mail address.
If you've already set up an e-mail account on your mobile phone, do the following:
Press MORE.
Press Settings.
Press Add account.
Key in your e-mail address.

Enter password

  • Press Password and key in the password for your e-mail account.
  • Press NEXT.
If you've forgotten your password for e-mail (not your Swisscom Login password), you can find it in the Customer Center.

Enter e-mail account name

  • Press MORE.
  • Press Settings.
  • Press the name of the e-mail account you've just set up.
  • Press Account name.
  • Key in the required name and press OK.

5.

Enter sender name

  • Press Your name.
  • Key in the required sender name and press OK.

6.

Select settings for retrieval of new e-mails

  • Press Sync schedule.
  • Press Set sync schedule.
  • Press Auto (when received), Manual or the required period.
  • Press the Return key the necessary number of times.

7.

Activate or deactivate e-mail notification

  • Press Notifications.
  • Press the name of your e-mail account.
  • Press the indicator below the name of your e-mail account to activate or deactivate the function.

8.

Finish setup

  • Press the Return key the necessary number of times.

9.

Return to the Home screen

  • Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.
