How to use map functions in Maps

You can use the map functions in Maps to find a specific location on a map or to plan a route from one location to another. Remember, first you need to set up your mobile phone for Internet and activate GPS.

1.

Find "Maps"

  • Press Maps.

2.

Find destination

  • Press Search or Address.
  • Key in the required destination and press Search.
  • The selected destination is displayed as a point on the map.
  • The information field, containing name and address of the destination, is displayed above the destination.

3.

Use zoom

  • Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.

4.

Select map view

  • Press the bottom right corner of the display.
  • Press Standard, Hybrid or Satellite.

5.

Activate or deactivate 3D mode

  • Press 3D to activate or deactivate 3D mode.

6.

Save favourite destination

  • Press arrow right.
  • Press Add to Bookmarks.
  • Edit the name of the destination and press Save.
  • Press Map to return to the map.

7.

Plan route to destination

  • Press arrow right.
  • Press Directions to Here.
  • Press the required mode of transportation.
  • Press Route.

8.

Return to the Home screen

  • Press the Home key to end the session and return to the Home screen.
