    Guide to phone keys and sockets

    Follow these instructions for a guide on how to use the phone keys and sockets.

    Several functions are associated with On/Off:

    Step 2 of 21

    Press On/Off to turn your mobile phone on or off.

    Step 3 of 21

    Press On/Off to activate the screen lock.

    Step 4 of 21

    Press and hold On/Off to access the functions silent mode and flight mode.

    Step 5 of 21

    Press the Return key to exit an active menu item or hide the keypad.

    Step 6 of 21

    Several functions are associated with the Application key:

    Step 7 of 21

    Press the Application key to view a list of the most recently used menu items and applications.

    Step 8 of 21

    Press and hold the Application key to use two applications at the same time.

    Step 9 of 21

    Several functions are associated with the Home key:

    Press the Home key to return to the Home screen.

    Press and hold the Home key to search the Internet.

    Press the Home key twice in quick succession to activate the camera.

    Press the Top volume key or the Bottom volume key to adjust the volume.

    Press the Top volume key or the Bottom volume key to silence the incoming call alert.

    Connect the charger or data cable to the socket and to a wall socket or your computer's USB port.

    Connect the headset to the headset socket.

    Place the tip of your finger on the heart rate sensor to check your heart rate when using S Health.

    Point the camera lens at the back of your mobile phone at the required object to take a picture or record a video clip.

    Point the camera lens at the front of your mobile phone at the required object during a video call.

    1. On/Off

    Connect the headset to the headset socket.
